  1. Is it instable now or is LARCHIN still broken with your ISO?

    • Its most likely broken since I since its the same version has in the last iso. You could use unetbootin to do a frugal live i think. You will have to tell it to so all drives and have the type selected to hard drive i believe.

I hope this works but i don’t know. Backup before you do this.

  2. I’ve been trying several times to build a very minimal Arch live usb from your scripts and was never able to get something working. (followed wiki and howto on Archlinux.com and Archlinux.fr, no success). Are they broken or is it me ? Do you intend to release a new version of these scripts soon ? Will it include a possibility to add layers of lzm files to enable/disable features ?
Thanks a lot for your answer (sorry if it’s the wrong place)

    • You should maybe use unetbootin for making the installing it to usb stick. For a very minimal archiso-live usb stick you can just only need 3 modules in base folder. a.000_Core, a.001_Cmdapps, a.006_Devel (if you need development module for build stuff in it).

PS My wiki page is here.

  3. Thanks a lot for the tip. I used to do that with slax, I guess it’s the easiest way.
However I missed the link to your wiki on github. I’ll give it a try. I really love the concept behind the scripts that wraps everything to a live distro that I really can strip down (busybox, drivers and one application autostarted).

Another remark on 20090506 relase : (small issue) the keyboard in X is not set to the language chosen in grub (at least for french).
    Thanks again
